Head Coach Lindsay Cronin

Coach Lindsay is excited to be back for her 12th season as a DH coach! She began swimming at the age of 7 for Dominion Hills and continued swimming year round for Arlington Aquatic Club. Later, she swam at Hood College where the distance events were her specialty, and she received her bachelors degree in elementary and special education.

Coach Lindsay is a Special Education Teacher at Taylor Elementary School in Arlington and is working on a masters degree to become a reading specialist. During the winter season, she has been a club coach with Arlington Aquatic Club for the past 6yrs and has helped organize the DH winter swim program.

“Summer swim is a fun season where swimmers of all ages are together. They learn skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and create lasting memories!”

It’s going to be a thunderous, fun-filled season! Go Thunder Ducks!

Assistant Coaches

Will Allen has been swimming at Dominion Hills since he was five years old and also swam at the Club Level for Clark Swim Club and Machine Aquatics. He swam for Washington-Liberty High School and served as a captain his senior year. Will was awarded DH’s Tony Santander Coaches Award in 2023 and is entering his sophomore year at the University of South Carolina.

Lauren Fatouros started swimming for Dominion Hills in 2010. She also competed for Arlington Aquatic Club and was a four-time member of Yorktown High School’s state swim and dive team. During her senior year at Yorktown, she served as captain and was recognized by the Better Sports Club of Arlington and Pigskin Club of Washington as female swimmer of the year. Lauren is a rising sophomore at William and Mary studying math and finance

Nate LeNard started swimming for Dominion Hills in 2010. He has also swam for both NCAP and York Swim Club. Nate participated in Yorktown High School Swim for four years, being named captain in his senior year. He currently swims with the University of Virginia’s club swim team. He is a rising sophomore at the University of Virginia and is planning on studying commerce and politics.

Clara Smith swam for Dominion Hills beginning when she was 5 years old, joining Clark Swim Club in 2015 and later NCAP. She swam for Yorktown High School all four years, was a part of her age group relay at DH since she was an 8&U, and holds several relay and individual team records. Clara is a rising sophomore at James Madison University studying management consulting and is excited to see what the team can accomplish this summer!

Mini Coaches

Alaina Desautels has been swimming for DH since she was 7 years old. Since she was 12, she has swum year-round for York Swim Club and has also enjoyed a few years coaching for their Swim School. She is looking forward to an exciting summer before her senior year at Yorktown High School, where she has been an active participant on their swim team.

Cooper McComis started swimming as a mini warrior in 2013. Since then he has enjoyed every moment of his time on the team and is excited to help create the same experience for new swimmers. He swims for York swim Club where he also coaches young swimmers and is looking forward to his senior season on the W-L swim team.

Lily Woodward is a rising freshman in college and will be attending Fairfield University. This is her second year coaching the Mini Ducklings and will be her 13th season swimming for DH. Lily is so excited for another fun summer at the pool!!
