Coach Lauren is excited to be back for her 2nd season as our head coach! She started swimming for Dominion Hills in 2010 and competed for Arlington Aquatic Club. She was a four-year member of Yorktown High School's state swim and dive team. During her senior year at Yorktown, she served as captain and was recognized by the Better Sports Club of Arlington and Pigskin Club of Washington as female swimmer of the year. Lauren is a rising senior at William and Mary, studying Marketing and Public Health. Dominion Hills gave Lauren her love of the sport, and she is dedicated to making every swimmer feel confident because swimming is about the friendships, the growth, and the memories made along the way.
There's no summer without the Dominion Hills Swim Team, and she cannot wait to make this one the best yet. Go Thunder Ducks!

Coach Clara is excited to return as Assistant Head Coach this summer! She has been swimming for Dominion Hills since she was 5 years old and later competed for NCAP and Yorktown High School’s swim team. Clara has previously coached Mini Ducklings, winter swim, and private lessons and is excited to continue coaching with the Thunder Ducks this season. Clara loves bringing energy and positivity to the pool and is passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, improve their skills, and have fun along the way. Dominion Hills gave Clara some of her favorite summer memories, and she cannot wait for another amazing season with the Thunder Ducks. Go Thunder Ducks!

Lily Woodward has been part of the Dominion Hills Swim Team since she was five years old and swam year-round with a club team for 11 years. Lily is currently a rising junior at Fairfield University, where she studies Marketing and swims on the club team. Growing up at Dominion Hills gave Lily so many of her favorite summer memories, and she loves being able to give that same experience back to younger swimmers. She is so excited for another fun summer at DH and cannot wait to cheer on the Thunder Ducks this season!

Cooper is stoked to be back for another awesome season! He started swimming at DH when he was six years old and later went on to swim for York Swim Club and the Washington-Liberty swim team, where he served as captain during his senior year. Cooper also previously coached for York, where he enjoyed helping younger swimmers build confidence and improve their technique. He recently completed his freshman year at Virginia Tech, where he studies National Security. Cooper has always loved the sport and is excited to share the same joy and passion for swimming that it brought him growing up!

Alaina is incredibly excited to be returning to coach this summer after her first year at Vassar College, where she is an applied math major and part of the swim team. She joined the DH team when she was 7, and she swam for York Swim Club starting at age 11. She attended high school at Yorktown and swam all four years there, winning the Sportsmanship and Excellence award her senior year. Although definitely sad that she won’t be contributing in the water this summer, she is thrilled to get to be a part of the fun, hard work, and spirit of another great season at DH!
Wesley Allen has been on the Dominion Hills swim team for 14 years and began coaching last year as a Mini Duckling coach. He is a senior at Washington-Liberty High School and plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall next year. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports and video games, and hanging out with friends. Wes hopes to foster the same excitement and sense of community that made swim team such a memorable part of his childhood.
Hi! My name is Claire and I'm going to be a freshman at Virginia Tech next fall. I was a coach for the Mini Ducklings last summer and am currently coaching Minis this summer as well! I've also coached Dominion Hills Winter swim for the past three years. I have been a part of swim team for 13 years and I can't wait to continue sharing my love for DH with younger swimmers. Griffin Langsdale is excited to return as a Mini Ducklings coach this summer! He has been a part of the Dominion Hills Swim Team since he was 7 years old and is a rising senior at Washington-Liberty High School. Griffin currently swims for York Swim Club as a member of the national team and for the Washington-Liberty swim team, where he received the Coach's Award during the 2024–25 season. Outside of DH, Griffin coaches with York Swim Club, The Swim Farm, and the Dorothy Hamm Middle School swim team, working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Dominion Hills has given him some of his favorite summer memories, and he loves helping younger swimmers build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the sport. Hi! My name is Anna LeNard, and I have been on the swim team for 13 years and a lifeguard for the past 3 years. I also did 8 years of club swim for Arlington Aquatics Club, and I just graduated from Bishop O'Connell, where I was a part of the swim team for all four years and a captain for two years. I also have helped coach the DH winter swim program for the past two years. I love the DH community and can't wait to help younger swimmers learn and have fun!
